Williams inspires people who struggle with challenging adversities that include but are not limited to: child abuse, poor self-image, lack of ambition, and self-destructive life-styles. Once a prostitute and homless, Lilisa knows all to well the shame, guilt and pain of living beneath her priviledges.

Lilisa J. Williams, who is now a successful radio show personality, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, author, instructor and preacher, utilizes seminars and workshops to successfully train and coach others on how to overcome their problems, pursue their goals and reach their highest human and spiritual potential. Others with a dream to live a highly successful life who have struggled with adversity in the past find that Williams is a great source of inspiration to them.

Williams’ powerful story of finding joy and success has motivated many, and they in turn have encouraged her to write about it, speak about it, and to teach her strategies of success to others. Overcoming adversity is a seminar topic that is in high demand. Although she is a busy entrepreneur and PhD. Candidate with a very demanding traveling schedule, she has begun a series of workshops, classes, and seminars in New Jersey, New York, Pennslyvania, Texas and Ohio entitled "God’s Plan for My Success."

”Many of my students are people who have suffered or experienced neglect or rejection from others and are left stuck in a place of dispare and frustration. They are afraid they are stuck there for life. My message is that if I can make it to the top, anyone can. I help them to get motivated and show them the steps to success," explained Williams.

Williams grew up as a molested child in Cincinnati, where she suffered from abuse, poor self-esteem, and lived a life that was "fast and reckless." After suffering one too many abusive relationships, Lilisa got tired of being sick and tired and decided to make a change that would change her entire life. Though brought up in the church, she did not always follow the scriptures. After years of riotous living, Lilisa returned to her up brining and she returned to attending church.

Through help from God, faith, prayer, hard work and perseverance she overcame her life of chaos and misery eventually becoming a college professor, a radio show host, an entrepreneur, a preacher, a keynote speaker, a writer and trainer. She received an AA from Union County College where she graduated with high honors and was the 1992-1993 Regional President of Phi Theta Kappa; a BA from Fairliegh Dickinson University; an MBA from Fairliegh Dickinson University; and is currently working toward a PH.D. from Capella University.

She overcame the enemy’s plan of destruction and discovered God’s plan of success, and now she is helping others to do the same through her inspirational seminars, books, workshops, and training on a variety of empowerment topics.

Lilisa, CEO of Brand New Beginnings, Inc. and Performance Strategies Unlimited, Inc., founded in 2001 and 2002 respectively, conducted her first seminar when approached by a professor at Union County College in 1992. She has been conducting seminars every since. Today, she is conducting seminars that inspire others to advance in life, education and career.

Williams is offering workshops in New Jersey, New York, Pennslyvania, Texas and Ohio. In addition, she is writing her 3^rd book, "How To Experience Mountain Top Success" as well as her memoir that details her struggle and amazing triumph.

In addition to all that she is doing she finds time to be with her husband of 16 years, volunteer 6-9 hours per month to non-profit WorkForce Agencies, attend church most every Sunday and help out with several women’s ministries and is a Lay Speaker with the United Methodist Church. New Jersey (OPENPRESS) August 2, 2004 - Not one but two! This newly published author, a native Cincinnatian, was once a high school drop out, victim of molestation and child abuse, a former prostitute and homeless woman, she was destined for “skid row”. After a series of pitfalls, wrong turns and setbacks, Lilisa turned her life around and today holds three degrees and is currently working on her fourth, a Ph.D. at Capella University.

Lilisa is returning to her home town and will be in town on Saturday, December 1^st for a book signing. (see attached flyer for details) Currently residing in Newark, New Jersey – Lilisa J. Williams is proud to announce her new books God’s Plan for My Success: “A Personal Testimony About Overcoming The Enemy’s Plan to Destroy My Life”, and Release Your Power: ”Eight Strategies for Becoming Who Your Really Are.” In less than 6 months, Lilisa has written and published two books. Not bad for a person who hated school, thought teachers were stupid and barely made it through the GED test.

The title of Lilisa’s next book is GED to Ph.D.: “How to Turn A Slow Start into A Fast Finish.” It is scheduled to be released by December, 2006. Lilisa’s writing style is simple, practical and foundational. She believes in reaching people in their lowest state and motivating them to their highest potential!

Lilisa knows that this was God’s plan because she never had any plans to write a book. After dropping out of high school in the 11^th grade and flunking most of her school years, she never wanted to write, nor did she think that she could write anything worthwhile. Then “God showed up and told me that He was going to use something that I could not understand to make me a success” explains Lilisa.

Her first book, God’s Plan for My Success, was self published in February, 2004. It offers a down-to-earth approach to finding Life’s True Success even in the midst of your mess. Lilisa believes and teaches others that true purpose in life can only be found by seeking and living God’s Plan. In order to do this it involves overcoming the enemy’s plan to destroy you. “The enemy’s basic plan is to lead you into any behaviors or activities that are destructive, demeaning, discouraging and depressive” states Lilisa.

Her second book, Release Your Power, will motivate its readers to take action and make life changing decisions.

Each book shares a piece of her personal story that will captivate any audience. God’s Plan for My Success and Release Your Power is bound to inspire!” At the end of each chapter the reader is challenged to record what God has planned for their life.
